Operator and scope
This notice covers the public S3DAT website, operated by S3DAT, and its protected single-admin Build Log console. It describes the site’s technical behaviour as of 4 October 2026. Final legal review is required before production approval.
Public browsing
The public website has no contact form, analytics, advertising trackers or marketing pixels. It sets no cookies for visitors and does not show a cookie consent banner. Reading the public Build Log does not create a visitor profile.
Hosting and delivery
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the Astro application. It may process ordinary request and security metadata, including an IP address, user agent, requested URL and request time.
The application does not copy those public request logs into its own visitor database. Retention follows the active Cloudflare account configuration and provider terms. No unverified retention period is promised here.
Checks in your browser
Motion preferences, forced colours, Save-Data and WebGL capability signals are checked locally to choose an accessible rendering mode. The application does not store those signals in local storage, cookies or D1, or use them to build a behavioural profile. Fonts are self-hosted; loading the type does not contact a font provider.
Build Log and admin cookies
Published Build Log content is read from Cloudflare D1. Validated media is delivered from private R2 storage through a same-origin route.
Session and CSRF cookies are used only in the protected administrator area. Public visitors do not receive them. Administrator sessions expire after at most seven days and can be revoked earlier.
Links and embedded media
GitHub receives data only when you follow a GitHub link. A published Build Log post may include an allowlisted YouTube no-cookie embed. Loading that embed makes a request to YouTube under its own terms.
External product links also lead to services with their own terms and privacy practices. S3DAT does not control those services.
Questions and requests
You can raise a question or personal-data request through the verified GitHub channel on the Contact page. Identity and scope may need to be confirmed before a request can be handled. Response times are not guaranteed.
Credits and licences
The interface self-hosts Geist, Geist Mono and Instrument Serif under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Silkscreen is available for the LIFTJAB pixel labels under the same licence. Lucide icons use the ISC licence. Other open-source libraries remain subject to their own licences.
S3DAT brand assets and the founder illustrations are owner-supplied material. Asset provenance and licence records are maintained with the application source. Design and engineering credits appear in the Studio colophon.
